 Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Ropar has published notification for the recruitment of various Teaching and Non Teaching Jobs i.e., Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Junior Superintendent , Junior Accountant , Steno, Junior Assistant & Junior Lab Assistant vacancies on direct & contractual basis.


1. Application Process: – Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application format on or before 30-05-2016.

3. Age Limit:
1. Candidates age limit should be 32 years for Post No. 03
2. 27 years for Post No. 04 to 07
*Note: – Relaxation of age will be applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST and 03 years for OBC & 10 years for PWD candidates as per GOI rules & Other relaxation details refer the notification.
4. Educational Qualification:
1. Candidates should possess Post Graduation Degree in any discipline for Post No. 01 & 02
2. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in any discipline for Post No. 03
3. B.Com with relevant experince for Post No. 04
4. Bachelor’s Degree with typing knoweledge for Post No. 05 & 06
5. Diploma in Mechanical Engg/ Electrical Engg/ Electronics Engg/ Instrumentation or BSc with both Physics and Mathematics for Post No. 07
5. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on test/ interview.
6. Application Fee:
1. Candidates should pay Rs. 100/- for Post No. 01 to 03
2. Rs. 50/- for Post No. 05 to 07 by DD in favour of: –

“the Registrar, IIT Ropar, payable at Ropar, Punjab.”

*Note: – Application fee will be exempted to SC/ ST/ PWD and women candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application along with supporting enclosures and DD in an envelope and wrote: –

to the Deputy Registrar (Establishment), Recruitment Cell, Room No. 125, Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, Nangal Road, Rupnagar – 140 001 (Punjab) on or before 30-05-2016 for Post No. 01, 02 & 05 by 05:00 PM.
